Owner

I have been in working in the outdoor industry for the past 18 years. I got my start in ropes courses and team building, then moving to adventure therapy, and then to upper management roles. I have been exploring the wilderness for as long as I can remember.  Starting with the woods behind my house and the family farm growing up. My family also did camping and canoe trips throughout the Appalachian Mountains. Then as I grew older, I got into: backpacking, fly fishing, mountain biking, and white water rafting. I grew up in the punk rock scene in Washington DC which heavily influenced my DIY ethos. Music still plays a very large part in my life, and I listen to a very diverse range of it. My alignment is Chaotic Good.

Head Guide

I have lived in Colorado for 15 years and been guiding on the Arkansas for 9. I love living in the high Rockies, but my first love is the desert, and I’ll head there any chance I get. I recently went on my first international rafting trip to Ecuador and can’t wait to explore more rivers around the world. When I am not rafting, I enjoy mountain biking, collecting sports cards, and training to be a professional Venetian Gondolier. My Alignment is Lawful Good which helps to keep Bo focused and in line.

Guide in Training

I went on my first rafting trip when I was 2. I have been all over the Rocky Mountain west adventuring with my parents and grandparents. I like Legos, Minecraft, riding my bike and scooter, my dogs, beating up my Dad, and telling jokes. My alignment is Chaotic Neutral.

Guide

After going whitewater rafting for the first time as a kid on a family vacation, I knew I wanted to be a whitewater rafting guide. As soon as I could, I left my small town in Iowa and booked it out to Buena Vista, Co. to train to be a guide! I have been guiding ever since. I love rafting and rivers. When I am not taking guests down the river I enjoy running the river with friends, going on camping adventures, and riding my motorcycle. In the winter I work for Rebel Sports at Copper Mountain. My alignment is chaotic good.
