From Denver

Take Highway 285 S the whole way.

From Colorado Springs

Take Highway 24 W, which merges with Highway 285 S at Antero Junction. At the T-stop light in Johnson Village make a left to leave Highway 24 and stay on Highway 285.

From Summit County

Take I-70 west to exit 195 for CO 91 S towards Leadville. CO 91 will end in Leadville and become Highway 24. Take Highway 24 south through Buena Vista and stay straight at the T-stop light in Johnson Village to get on Highway 285 S.
